Osteopathy

Osteopathy Mechelen

Ruben had a six-year training in osteopathy in the FICO in Antwerp. He will apply all the knowledge he acquired during his training during the treatments.

What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a treatment method based on 4 pillars:

  1. The structure of the body adapts to the function that is needed to. When an osteopath, conversely, accentuates certain functions, the structure itself changes in time.
  2. Every place in the body is provided with nutrients and needs the disposal of waste materials. It is the aim of an osteopath to optimise this interaction, which is called the arterial rule.
  3. Our body is viewed from a holistic vision: the body is a whole. The subsystems can be mutually influenced.
  4. The body is always looking for a balance.
